This seems to be White Trash World Headquarters, and not sure why; the area is on a beautiful spot on the St John's River and the fishing is excellent...so they moved in and trashed the entire location. A place that used to be famous for wonderful seafood and produce and a stop for wealthy tourists and riverboats is now mostly distinguished by a high crime rate, a thriving recreational drug industry, mandatory teenage pregnancy, early violent deaths, cheap drunks, entitlement mentality, blighted everything, and the permeating sulphuric odor of the ubiquitous pulp mills.

Well, even if I can't see the story, I'd believe most any awful thing about Palatka.
